Their decisions are guided by a deep awareness of the impact on the environment and society.
Dr.-Ing. Oliver Nitzsche
Dr.-Ing. Oliver Nitzsche has been the Chief Operating Officer of WIEGEL Verwaltung GmbH & Co. KG since January 2025. Prior to this, he held various managing director and leadership positions in the industry, including at Kranbau Köthen GmbH, AGCO GmbH, and Lely Maschinenfabrik GmbH. His academic background includes a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kassel, as well as a Master of Engineering in Technical Management. In addition, he holds a degree as a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) in Production and Logistics.
Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Matthias Götz
Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Matthias Götz has been responsible for key functions within the WIEGEL Group since 2016. He previously built his expertise through extensive work in senior positions in quality and environmental management, as well as in the areas of production and engineering. In this context, he worked for renowned companies in metal processing, electrical engineering, and mast construction. His academic background includes degrees as a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) in Mechanical Engineering and as a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur (FH). In addition, he holds the additional qualification of Welding Engineer (SFI/IWE).
EMP Volker Tichy
As CFO, Volker Tichy is responsible for all operational commercial areas of the WIEGEL Group. He previously gained many years of experience as CFO in an international company in the automotive supply industry. He developed his expertise through senior positions in procurement and logistics, as well as in finance and controlling. During this time, he gained extensive experience in strategic corporate development – particularly in the U.S. and Chinese markets.
His educational background includes a degree in Business Economics (Diplom-Betriebsökonom) and an Executive Master in Finance from the St. Gallen Management Institute.
