The WIEGEL Group at the Company Runs in Summer 2025

Once again this year, the WIEGEL Group was active and on the move: Our colleagues from various locations laced up their running shoes and took part in several company runs, showing team spirit, energy, and good vibes – a powerful sign of how movement brings people together.

B2Run Koblenz – Neuwied Site

Things kicked off in Koblenz – under glorious sunshine and in a fantastic atmosphere. Colleagues from the Neuwied site joined the starting line with great enthusiasm and ran the 5.4-kilometre course together. Along the way, music, applause, and small refreshments created some truly goosebump moments. After crossing the finish line, it wasn’t just time to catch our breath – it was a time for shared laughter and celebration. A wonderful evening that will be remembered fondly.

Genthin Relay Run – Redekin Site

The enthusiasm continued in Genthin: Under the name ‘WIEGEL Gitter-Giganten,’ our team took part in the relay run full of energy. But there was plenty going on off the track as well: At the WIEGEL info booth, many visitors engaged with us – whether about apprenticeships or job opportunities. A real highlight was the galvanized winner’s podium with the branded WIEGEL logo, which we provided for the event.

 B2Run Nuremberg – Nuremberg Site

At the end of July, the team from our headquarters also took part in the B2Run in Nuremberg. Around the Max-Morlock Stadium, the atmosphere was great, and the excitement was building even before the start. During the 6.1 km run, everyone went at their own pace – some with athletic ambition, others simply for the joy of it. In the end, it was all about crossing the finish line together. The evening wound down in a relaxed mood on the stadium lawn – with a cool drink and the satisfying feeling of having achieved something together.

Conclusion: Movement, Connection, Togetherness

Whether driven by athletic ambition or simply by the joy of participation – the company runs were a fantastic opportunity to meet colleagues outside the daily work routine, share an experience, and present ourselves as a team.
