The foundation of our corporate policy lies in our long-standing activities in environmental protection. In the past, they have led to considerable environmental protection innovations in the further development of our plants by utilising the best available technologies and the state of the art within the scope of our economic possibilities.

A new industry-specific standard has been created in terms of ecology and economy, working conditions, plant safety and occupational health and safety and consistently applied to existing plants. As a result, we have already received several environmental awards in the past.

In Nuremberg, just a few kilometres away from the place where Hans Wiegel started hot-dip galvanising in 1948, the heart of the medium-sized company group still beats to this very day. It is from here that the Wiegel administration manages, supports and assists the numerous legally independent units of the Wiegel group. Experience and developments are pooled and made available to all the sites.
